Car accident on August 13, 2016, on Road 224 in Tulare County. The Clients, the driver and the passenger, suffered severe bodily injuries, including to the cervical and lumbar spine. Settlement by private mediation:

Rodriguez–Mendoza, et al. v. HMN Incorporated, et al.

Jurisdiction: Tulare County

On June 26, 2015, in San Diego, an e-cigarette lithium-ion battery manufactured by the defendants exploded in the right pocket of a 23-year-old Client, causing him to suffer serious lower limb injuries as well as second and third degree burns of the right thigh. Settlement by private mediation: the amount of compensation is confidential.


Cochran v. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., et al.

Jurisdiction: San Diego County

Accident due to slipping on a greasy oily liquid spilled in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The Client suffered a significant spine injury, in consequence of which she had to undergo surgery and extensive rehabilitation. Settlement
by private mediation:

Cardoza v. Cypress Village Condos, LLC, et al.

Jurisdiction: Los Angeles County

Accident at the workplace. As a result of improper maneuvering of the pallet jack by one of the Defendant’s employees, the 44-year-old Client suffered a crush injury to his ankle which required surgery and rehabilitation. Throughout the life of the case, Defendant questioned the need for treatment; however, on the "eve" of the trial, Defendant made an offer of USD $ 100,000. The offer was rejected, and the case proceeded to a three-day trial. After two hours of deliberations, the jury returned a verdict of
USD $ 194,611.

Ayala v. Commodity Forwarders, Inc., et al.

Jurisdiction: Los Angeles County

Accident due to tripping over a concrete edge and falling at a Shell gas station in Temecula, California. The Client's left wrist was injured, which required surgery and long-term rehabilitation. Apart from pain and suffering and medical costs, lost earnings were claimed as part of damages. Settlement by private mediation: the amount of compensation is confidential.


Potter v. Tesoro, et al.

Jurisdiction: Riverside County

April 16, 2015; Bakersfield. While riding a bicycle in crosswalk, the Client was hit by a car, as a result of which she fell onto the street and suffered numerous injuries, including pelvis, back, chest. Defendant contested the entirety of the case, relying on the police report which listed Plaintiff as the primary cause of the subject accident and found Plaintiff to have violated California Vehicle Code by travelling through red light. Settlement by direct negotiation: USD $ 95,000 (against the policy limit of
$ 100,000).


Dizon v. Nichols, et al.

Jurisdiction: Kern County

Accident at the workplace, in which a 24-year-old Client was hit and run over by a truck on the maneuvering yard, as a result of which he suffered pelvic fractures, as well as chronic back and leg pain. Settlement via private mediation: USD $ 340,000.

Jurisdiction: San Bernardino County

A car accident on November 7, 2016. Both Clients, the driver and the passenger, suffered, among others, head, neck, and back injuries.
